Let’s Talk About Tomorrow | #55
Tomorrow marks 19 years since I quit nicotine.
In this personal episode, I reflect on the gratitude I feel toward the Kill The Can community and the accountability, support, brotherhood, and sisterhood that have helped me remain nicotine-free for nearly two decades.
July 24 also marks two years since my father passed away from lung cancer. I discuss his decision not to reveal the full extent of his diagnosis, the anger I experienced after his death, and the understanding and love that eventually replaced it.
Tomorrow is important, but it is never promised.
All we truly have is today. Today, we post roll. Today, we make the promise. Today, we stay quit.
